Sarah Plummer, Diver — for dad, 2019.
Diver — for dad, 2019. Stone lithograph (acid tint) printed on A88 with a Thai Kozo Chine Collé. 15 × 10 inches (38.1 cm x 25.4 cm). Edition of 10 + Artist’s Proofs.
Some of you may know that my dad is living with young onset dementia. The purchase of this print will contribute to my plan to fulfill one of his great, life-long, oceanic dreams. Dad has always wanted to swim with whale sharks. I hope to take him to Nigaloo while he still has the capacity for supported, domestic travel. If you are able to help by buying a print, or would like to donate separately, that would be a great gift to me. Feel free to make donations via Venmo to @sarahellisplum.
Thank you to everyone who has been here to love and hold me over the last few years, and thank you to everyone who has truly witnessed the beauty of my dad. He continues to be a shepherd of wonder every single day. For a full expression of feeling, see here.
